Hello! I’m a journalist specializing in print and audio. I’ve spent most of my life in the state of Georgia, but living in Florida and Japan when I was young sparked a curiosity about the world that drives me to uncover stories and visit new places.
I’m currently based in Paris, France, working as an Fulbright English teaching assistant. I recently graduated with my master’s in journalism from the University of Georgia, where I also earned undergraduate degrees in journalism and international affairs along with a minor in French.
My work has appeared in NPR, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Current of coastal Georgia and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I also served as the editor-in-chief of UGA’s independent student newspaper The Red & Black and as host of The Lead podcast, a show about how to get ahead in the news industry from the people who did.
I love to read and be outside. I’m very happy when I can do both at the same time.
